Owner Sheryl McDonald and husband Tom Peshock found that perfect spot in the country to pursue their love of Collies.Soon friends and students from Sheryl's training classes were asking if their dogs could please stay at the "doggy camp" while they were on vacation. This was the inspiration behind Shertom Boarding Kennels where we have been boarding dogs since 1993.
Tom and Sheryl are active in the Collie Rescue of Austin, an organization that rescues unwanted, homeless, neglected and shelter collies and places them in loving homes. They are also active members and officers in the Collie Club of Austin. The club helps raise funds for the Collie Rescue.

Sheryl, is a certified dog trainer through Capitol Dog Training Club of Austin. She's been training dogs for 30 years in obedience, agility and herding and dog carting.
